Worship

A Traditional Service at 9:00 a.m.

Congregational singing is enhanced by the use of a 48-rank Zimmer pipe organ and a Yamaha concert piano. On various Sundays you will also experience worship through the music of five octaves of handbells, chimes, a brass ensemble, and liturgical dance ministry. The music ministry at these services incorporates the use of singing choirs (Children, Youth, and Adult choirs).

Many styles of music are shared: traditional anthems, classical works, gospel, spirituals, contemporary and world music. The Chancel Choir usually presents two major programs each year with orchestra.

The service also includes a “children’s moment” followed by Children’s Church for ages 3-5k. A nursery is also provided.

Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.

Sunday School for all ages; nursery provided. For adults, youth and children ages 2 and up.

A Contemporary Service

at 11:00 a.m.

This more casual service has up-beat music performed by Union’s Praise Band every week. Most music is selected from popular contemporary Christian artists. The Praise Band consists of three guitarists, two lead vocals, keyboard, and drums. Guest musicians add violin, trumpet, sax, and harmonica on occasion.

On various Sundays the service also features drama and skits. The service also includes a “children’s moment” followed by Children’s Church for ages 3-5k.

A nursery is also provided.

Come as you are! We can’t wait to get to know you, the beautiful YOU God has created.

We are more concerned with people’s hearts than what they are wearing. Feel free to wear what you’re comfortable in.

We offer both traditional and contemporary services. Worship in the style you prefer: all is for God’s glory.

Don’t be alarmed when you see an Irmo PD presence on campus; they’re here for everyone’s safety.

Our nursery is staffed by trained and background-checked caregivers, ready to love on children 0-3 years old. But babies are welcome in “big church” too!

Every Sunday, except the 1st Sunday, children leave before the sermon for their own church experience. But children are welcome to stay in worship too!
